Think of mAh as the size of the fuel tank. A 1000mAh battery can deliver 1000 milliamps for one hour, or 500 milliamps for two hours, and so on. In practice, you'll see ratings like 800mAh, 1500mAh, or 3000mAh on devices. Here's what each range tends to mean for a typical vaper:
- 800–1200mAh: Good for light users, short sessions, or as a backup. Expect a few hours of moderate vaping.
- 1500–2500mAh: The sweet spot for many everyday vapers. Usually lasts most of a day with moderate use.
- 3000mAh and up: For heavy vapers or all-day users. These are bigger, heavier, and often found in box mods or high-capacity pod systems.
Don't get hung up on the number alone. A 1500mAh device at 15 watts will drain faster than a 1000mAh device at 8 watts.
