Ring-spun cotton performs beautifully if you treat it right. The fibers are twisted tighter, so the fabric resists pilling and holds its shape better than regular cotton. My own Windbar tees have been through dozens of washing cycles and still look sharp.
The catch? High heat is the enemy. Hot water shrinks the fibers, and a hot dryer does the same. Stick to cold water and low heat, and you'll see the difference. Also, skip the bleach—it breaks down the cotton and fades your prints.
