Ceramic coils are often marketed as having 'better flavor' because they heat more evenly and can handle thicker e-liquids. There's some truth to that, but it's not a universal rule. A well-tuned mesh coil can be just as flavorful, and a poorly designed ceramic coil can taste dull.

The key is to look at what the coil is designed to achieve. Some devices use ceramic to extend coil life, but in a disposable, the battery usually runs out first. So the 'longer lifespan' benefit is often moot. Instead, focus on what you can control: the quality of the e-liquid and the device's airflow. A coil that's matched to the right airflow will give you a better experience than any coil material alone.
