Travel is where most disposable vapes meet their end. Here's how to avoid that.
- Always carry your vape in your carry-on, not checked luggage. The pressure changes in the cargo hold can cause leaks.
- Turn it off if it has a switch. If it's auto-draw, keep it in a separate pocket, away from keys or coins that might press the sensor and drain the battery.
- Bring a small ziplock bag as a backup. If a leak does happen, it won't ruin your backpack.
- When you're out and about, keep the vape in an inside pocket, close to your body. That keeps it at a stable temperature and reduces the chance of it getting crushed.
- If you're flying, remember that vaping is prohibited on the plane. Wait until you're outside the terminal.
During a long trip, pace yourself. If you're sightseeing, you'll naturally vape less than you do at home. Use that to your advantage. If you're on a road trip, take a puff only when you stop, not while driving.
