When you pull a device out for the next event, repeat the setup checks. Take a test puff, check the airflow, and wipe the mouthpiece again. Even if it was sealed, a little dust can sneak in.

Also check the charge if your model has an indicator. Disposable batteries drain slowly even when idle, so a device that was fine last week might be low now.
