Before you put any disposable in your cart, run through this quick checklist:
- Check the production date. Most brands print a date or lot code on the box. If it's more than a year old, skip it. E-liquid degrades over time, and the flavor will be stale.
- Look for visible damage. Any dents, cracks, or leaks? If the package feels sticky or smells like e-liquid, it's already leaking. Put it back.
- Consider the recipient's nicotine tolerance. If they're a heavy smoker, a high-strength device (5% or more) might be necessary. For light users, a lower strength is better. When in doubt, go lower—they can always take more puffs.
- Think about the environment. Will they use it indoors or outdoors? If they'll be outside in chilly spring weather, a device with a tighter draw might perform better in cold air. If they're mostly indoors, any device works.
That's it. Thirty seconds, and you're done.
