You'll see 'break-in' mentioned in the manual or maybe in a YouTube review. It sounds technical, but it's just a fancy way of saying: get the device ready for regular use. Every new piece of hardware has a bit of a settling-in period. The battery needs to calibrate, the heating element needs to burn off any leftover oils from the factory, and the seals need to loosen up a little.
For a compact vaporizer, the break-in is short and simple. You're not doing anything complicated, but you're being deliberate. That's the difference between a device that tastes clean from the first puff and one that tastes a little plasticky for the first few sessions.
