A dry burn is the one thing you should actually do. It's simple: turn on the device and run a few heat cycles without anything in the chamber. This burns off any residues left from manufacturing. You'll notice a faint smell the first time, maybe a little smoke. That's normal.

Here's how to do it:

1. Make sure the device is fully charged.
2. Clean the mouthpiece and chamber with a cotton swab dipped in isopropyl alcohol. Let it dry completely.
3. Turn on the device and set it to the highest temperature.
4. Run a few heat cycles (usually 2–3) with nothing inside.
5. Let the device cool down, then wipe the chamber again with a dry swab.

That's it. Now your device is ready for its first real use.
