When you're at the counter, ask these:

• “How do I refill this without making a mess?”
• “Does the pod leak if I keep it in my pocket?”
• “How long does the battery actually last with moderate use?”
• “Are there spare pods/tanks available, and how much do they cost?”
• “Can I adjust airflow, or is it fixed?”

Real staff will give you straight answers. If they dodge, be cautious.
