If you've gone through all the steps above and the gurgle is constant, the pod itself may be defective. That happens, and it's not worth fighting. Replace it with a fresh pod.

Here's the hard rule: never charge a device that has liquid in the battery compartment. If you see any moisture near the charging port or on the battery contacts, don't plug it in. Dispose of the pod and clean the device carefully. If the device itself seems wet inside, stop using it entirely and contact the manufacturer.

Also, don't try to open the pod or force the coil out—that's not designed for user repair and can damage the device or cause injury.
