🏠 House Party & Gathering Etiquette
✅ Do
- Ask the host first: "Is it cool if I vape inside/on the patio?"
- Respect the answer — no pressure, no arguments
- Step outside if there are kids, non-vapers, or people who mind
- Bring extra pods to share — but only offer if you know they vape
- Dispose of trash properly — don't leave used pods around
❌ Don't
- Just start vaping without checking — even if you think it's fine
- Vape around kids, babies, or pregnant people
- Offer your vape to non-smokers / non-vapers
- Leave your device lying around where kids can reach it
- Get defensive if someone asks you to stop
At a friend's house, the host sets the rules. Always ask. "Hey, can I vape in here, or should I step out?" is all it takes. Most hosts will say yes or tell you where's fine. If they say no, don't take it personally — everyone has their own preferences about their space.
For big parties, the general rule is: if people are smoking outside, you can vape outside with them. If it's a non-smoking household, step away from the house or find an appropriate spot. And never vape around kids — just don't do it.
