If I had a do-over, I'd tell people to check the mouthpiece before the first puff of the day. A quick glance costs two seconds and can save you a wet surprise. I'd also suggest carrying a small tissue or napkin specifically for flicking—it's a commuter lifesaver.
And if gurgling keeps happening with the same brand or model, that's a clue. Some disposables just run wetter than others. If you're on a LINQ-SLIM or VERTEX-VISTA and it keeps gurgling, it might be the design—not you. That's when you try a different style or puff count next time.
One more thing: never try to disassemble a disposable to 'fix' the coil. That's not safe, and it voids any assumed warranty. If the gurgle won't quit, retire it and recycle it properly if your area allows.
Remember, a gurgle is usually a fixable nuisance, not a death sentence for your device. But when it's time, it's time. Trust your ears—and your taste buds.
