Always store the vaporizer upright. If you lay it down, oil or liquid can leak into the airflow path, which is a mess to clean. Keep it in a cool, dry place—not in a car on a hot day, not in direct sunlight. Extreme temperatures can damage the battery and the cartridge. This is basic stuff, but it's the most common reason devices fail early.
