If you're on the fence, do this. Take the device you're considering and put it in your pocket with your keys and phone. Walk around your living room for five minutes. Sit down, stand up, reach for something. Does it get in the way? Does it feel like it's going to fall out? That's your answer.

And if you're ordering online, check the dimensions and weight, but also look for videos of people holding the device. You can judge scale better when you see it in a real hand, not just a spec sheet.
