Walk behind your counter and take a real look at your coil inventory. Not the shelf display—the actual stock you've got in the back. How many mesh options are sitting next to standard ones? What's been gathering dust for months?
Most shops end up with a lopsided mix. Either you loaded up on mesh because customers asked for it, or you stuck with standard because that's what you've always ordered. Neither approach serves your customers well.
Here's what to check:
- Which coil types match the devices you sell? If you carry VERTEX-VISTA or LINQ-PRO, check what coils are compatible. Don't assume—verify.
- What's your return rate on coils? If people are bringing back standard coils because they burn out fast, that's a signal.
- What are customers actually asking for? Keep a mental note of the questions you hear. 'Does this come in mesh?' is different from 'Which one lasts longer?'
