You've done your homework, you've bought a product with a solid lab report. But your job isn't done.
After a week, ask yourself:
- Have I received the actual product and does it match the batch on the report?
- Have I tasted the product? Does it taste like it should? (If it tastes off, there might be a contamination issue.)
- Have I checked the customer feedback? Are there any complaints about harshness or leaks?
If anything seems off, send a sample to a different lab for a second opinion. It's a small price to pay for peace of mind.
Remember, a lab report is a snapshot of a moment in time. It's not a guarantee that every unit in the batch is identical. But it's the best tool you have to make an informed decision.
