Start with the device. Check the battery level if your model has an indicator (like the VERTEX-VISTA or LINQ-PRO). If it's below half, consider charging it if it's rechargeable—some disposables are, and topping up before a session avoids mid-demo failures. If it's not rechargeable, have a spare ready.
Next, clean the mouthpiece with a dry cloth. You'd be surprised how much lint and dust collects overnight. A clean mouthpiece makes a big difference on camera.
Set up your demo area. You don't need a full studio, but a few things help:
- A clean, uncluttered desk or table.
- Good lighting from the front or side—avoid backlighting that casts your shadow on the product.
- A neutral background so the device pops.
- A small mirror or mat to place the vape on for close-ups.
If you're filming, test a few puffs before you hit record. This confirms the draw is smooth and the vapor is consistent. You don't want to discover a problem live.
