Every product on this list has received a Marketing Granted Order (MGO) from the FDA Center for Tobacco Products (CTP). We verified each entry against:
- FDA's official E-Cigarettes Authorized by the FDA document (HHS, last updated May 2026)
- FDA marketing-granted order announcements for JUUL2 (August 2026)
- CSPDailyNews industry reporting confirming the 48-product count (September 9, 2026)
- Individual FDA Director's Summary documents for each manufacturer
Products that received Marketing Denial Orders (MDOs) are not included. Products with pending PMTA review are not included. Only products with active, granted marketing orders appear on this list.
Bottom line: "FDA-authorized" means a product may be lawfully marketed under the PMTA standard. It does not mean the product is "FDA approved" or safe. The FDA explicitly states that authorization means the product is "appropriate for the protection of public health" based on a benefit-risk assessment — not that it is harmless.
