The common thread is that airflow is a tool, not a fixed setting. It changes how air mixes with vapor, how much oil reaches the coil, and how much pressure builds in the device. In hot weather, you want to adjust for thinner oil and higher pressure. That usually means closing down, at least a little.
The good news is you can experiment. Start with a tighter draw, take a few puffs, and see how it goes. If you get leaks, close it further. If the draw feels too hard, open it slightly. Your preferences might change with the season.
One more tip: if you're using a battery with adjustable wattage, keep it on a lower setting in the heat. High heat from the coil can make thinning worse. But that's a topic for another time.
