Best Overall: Black Note — unmatched authenticity, coil life, and ingredient transparency. The PMTA acceptance is a regulatory bonus. Worth the premium if you care about real tobacco taste.

Best Budget: Naked 100 American Cowboy — at $10/30mL equivalent, it delivers a serviceable tobacco experience that beats any disposable. Best value for ex-smokers on a budget.

Best for Pod Systems: Dinner Lady Tobacco Caramel (nic salt) — smooth, approachable, and the caramel sweetness makes high-nicotine salt palatable. Pair with any 50/50-compatible pod system.

Best for Purists: Real Tobacco Extract — single-leaf varieties for the discerning ex-smoker who wants to explore Virginia vs. Burley vs. Turkish as distinct experiences.
