Came from disposables, so removable batteries are new to me. I had a spare 18650 in my coat pocket next to keys. Wrap has a small scrape near the wrap overlap, metal is not showing but it is close.
ECF-style advice I have read: no loose cells in a pocket, use a plastic case, and if the wrap is compromised you rewrap or retire the cell. I do not have wrap tape at home.
This is a regulated mod, not a mech. I am not trying to be a hero with damaged wraps. If the honest answer is "bin it and buy a case," that is what I will do.
Also curious how you all store spares in a bag without them rolling into coins.
