1. Flavor Crossover When Switching Tanks
The first 10-15 puffs after toggling between flavors produce a mixed taste. Mint flavors crossover acceptably; fruit combinations can be unpleasant. There's no fix — it's inherent to the dual-coil design.
2. Leaking When Stored Flat
Thin e-liquid can seep into the airflow tube if the device is stored flat in a pocket or bag. Store upright. Gurgling or spitback after storage indicates e-liquid in the airflow path — blow through the mouthpiece gently to clear.
3. Counterfeit Products
Counterfeit UT 50K units are reportedly flooding the US market. Genuine devices should have a scratch-off verification code and holographic logo. Buy only from authorized retailers. For tips on spotting counterfeits, see our counterfeit identification guide (principles apply across brands).
4. One Tank Depleting Before the Other
If you favor one flavor, that tank will empty while the other still has liquid. This is normal dual-tank behavior, not a defect. The device continues working on the remaining tank.
5. Flavor Degradation After ~30K Puffs
E-liquid chemistry degrades over time. Fruit flavors lose intensity noticeably after 30,000 puffs. Mint maintains consistency the longest. This is the fundamental argument against 50,000-puff devices — the flavor simply doesn't hold for the full capacity.
6. Coil Failure on One Side
If a tank shows e-liquid remaining but produces no vapor, the coil on that side may have failed. The other tank should continue working normally. For troubleshooting tips, see our vape troubleshooting guide.
