Most vape product spec sheets are written by engineers for other engineers. The problem is that most vape buyers are not engineers. They are purchasing managers, category buyers, and retail owners who need to make a decision in 90 seconds or less.
Here is the structure that actually works. Page one: commercial summary. Dimensions, weight, battery capacity, liquid capacity, puff count range, coil resistance, and nicotine strength options. One page. No technical jargon. If the buyer does not find what they need on page one, they will not read page two.
Page two: technical specifications. Output wattage, voltage range, draw resistance, charge time, charge port type, LED indicator behavior, and activation mechanism. This is where the engineer's work lives. But format it for a buyer: put the spec name in the left column, the value in the middle, and the tolerance in the right column. If the buyer sees "1.5kPa +/- 0.2kPa" they know exactly what they are getting. If they see "1.5kPa" alone, they know the supplier has not measured the variance.
Page three: compliance and certification. FDA PMTA submission numbers, state registry listings, CE marking, RoHS compliance, UN38.3 battery certification, and any additional market-specific certifications. This is the page that legal and compliance teams will check. Make it easy for them.
The balance between technical and marketing information is simple: the spec sheet is technical. The product brochure is marketing. Do not mix them. A spec sheet that includes phrases like "revolutionary flavor experience" loses credibility with every buyer who has been in the industry longer than six months. The buyers who matter want data. Give it to them clean.
The spec sheet is not a sales document. It is a trust document. If your buyer trusts your spec sheet, the sale is already halfway done. This content is intended for adults 21 years of age or older.
